Toddler

Toddler Program

(18 months to 3 years)

The Toddler Program, for children 18 months and up, is where we begin to lovingly foster a child's natural desire for independence. Dedicated, nurturing and trained teachers implement a curriculum intentionally geared to foster cognitive development, speech and language development, strengthen fine motor and gross motor skills and introduce grace and courtesy lessons.

Toddler exercises and activities recognize that children learn by doing. Classroom materials are always accessible, attractive, safe, and specifically chosen for a child’s success. Activities are changed regularly in response to children’s need for variety and challenge as they grow and learn. Toddlers come to school five days a week, and may choose to stay for mornings-only or a full day. Upon completion of the Toddler program, children join our Primary program. The Toddler Program environment is designed to be a safe and gentle transition into a school atmosphere.

Enrichment

The enrichment program for the toddler program is focused on the introduction of visual art, music and physical education. The students will be engaged in activities such as painting, choir, and cardiovascular movements.
